Biodiversity and Water

NatureKit is a great way to explore biodiversity, vegetation communities and waterways via an easy to use mapping system.  If you're look for what plants to plant at your property, Ecological Vegetation Classes can give you a bit of a hint as to what was growing before 1750.  You can also take a look at culturally sensitive wetlands, rivers and lakes.

Pest Plants and Animals

  • Colac Otway Shire weeds resources

  • FeralScan is a great way to support monitoring of pests like Deer, Pig and Rabbits.

  • The Victorian Rabbit Action Network (VRAN) is also a great resource for all things rabbits

  • Subscribe below for updates on programs about pest plants and animals.
